BlomURBEX - relative and absolute height measurement
BlomURBEX is primarily a tool for measuring relative structural features to an accuracy of +/- ~ 30cm. This information is sufficient for many users in establishing the height between floors of a building or the distance between windows for example.
Also available is a ground level tool giving values based on a 10 metre grid with an accuracy of +/- 2m. This information can provide some indication of the absolute height at ground level but an enhanced level of accuracy can be achieved by incorporating LiDAR height data typically captured for 2 metre or denser grids. The vertical accuracy of this data is around +/- 20cm depending on the source and the density (up 25cm spacing is now becoming available).
