BlomURBEX extended - a simple 3D model
Through the previous stages it has been demonstrated that sufficient detail has been derived both from BlomURBEX and the LiDAR digital surface model to create three dimensional linework in CAD or GIS.
In our AutoCAD example, we have brought these elements together to form a simple 3D model to illustrate how this might be rendered by a user.
Of course, the level of detail in the model is entirely up to the user and a more natural looking model can be achieved by using BlomURBEX or other imagery to drape across this framework.
