BlomURBEX extended - producing derived elevations and sections

Blom Urbex can be used to measure along facades both horizontally and vertically.  By combining these measurements with absolute levels and cross section profiles obtained from LiDAR using Global Mapper, traditional elevations and sections can be formed with relative ease.  These can be simple outline (suitable for rendering with photos) or more detailed depending on the requirement.

It is also possible to combine the two sources of information to produce derived sections. These interpretations allow the user to identify for example more clearly distinct changes in height which may have been 'smoothed' by the LiDAR capture but to retain the absolute height values and interpret in between with the help of the BlomURBEX measurements.
