BlomURBEX online
BlomURBEX is now through its Beta stage and available as a fully functional product on centremapslive.com. We're delighted to once again be ensuring that centremapslive.com users are the first to benefit from the most up to date technologies and datasets.
This groundbreaking service offers users the capability to not only view locations from the North, South, East and West as well as through the conventional vertical views but to further measure and export data.
The ability to view the BlomURBEX data without charge is an incredible resource. For users who wish to then take height or distance measurements or download images for use in reports, areas can be licensed from just £10 + VAT.
The coverage available is set to rapidly grow over the coming few months as the data (already captured) for near 1000 locations across Europe is made available.
Recent improvements to our BlomURBEX provision mean the solution now offers:
- date of capture (for oblique images)
- greater zoom levels (for confidence in measuring)
- an index map for ease of location
- greater cross-browser support (without plugins)
To try out the service (including the tools), simply log-in to the service and on opening the BlomURBEX window, click on the sample area link at the top of the page to be directed to a trial area where measurements may be taken and image exports created.
BlomURBEX is a key part of the centremapslive.com offering. Not only can users access the most detailed topo mapping datasets, they can now interact fully in the 3rd dimension and immediately access real views of their site from a range of perspectives. This latest oblique imagery solution fits perfectly in the range of height information available from centremapslive.com and the combination of BlomURBEX with other datasets such as LiDAR means that the interpretation of significant levels of detail can now be made before visiting a site.
