BGS 50K - Official Dataset Information
The CENTREMAPSlive British Geological Survey 1:50,000 geology product is based on the 1:50,000 DiGMapGB dataset from British Geological Survey overlain on the Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 scale product.As the data is supplied in a PDF format, the data which is supplied is much more accessible than the raw vector data although some of the more unusual attributes (not seen on BGS 1:50,000 paper maps) can not be included.
