STEP 5 - Final options in the shopping basket
The shopping basket contains the items selected for order, some general information and the opportunity to enter discount codes and order more data:
General Information
Information about licences and speed of delivery can be found at the top of the shopping basket. The licences information can also be found in the 'Using Your Maps' section.
Order Items
Each order item has a number of lines of information shown. Most of these are simply a summary of the choices made in the order process but those in red offer the chance to make choices about your product and add information.
The choices are:
Data Supply Format
A chance to choose the format that the mapping data will be supplied in. The choices include:
- TIFF - an image format of the mapping with georeference file (if required)
- PDF - a ready to use mapping document format with the ability to turn on and off layers of mapping information
- Vector formats - a range of formats suited in particular to CAD (Computer Aided Design) and GIS (Geographical Information Systems)
Number of Users of Product:
Where the data is to be used by a number of individuals (perhaps in a large corporation) this should be filled in to obtain the correct licence.
Job Name / Reference
This field has text (e.g. Map Order 1) in as a default. This can be deleted and typed over with your own choice of reference such as a purchase order reference.
Licence Type
Choose from the available licences. The main option available is for a single year licence after which any data should either be repurchased or deleted.
These licences are based on the standard terms of our suppliers. We hope to add permanent and archive licences to meet customer demand in the near future.

Delivery Method
As well as being able to download you mapping (excluding very large orders) CENTREMAPSlive® is happy to offer the choice to additionally receive the mapping on a range of media from CD, through USB to USB hard-drives.
The range of digital media not only makes accessing your data simple but can also provide a useful storage device at a reasonable price!
Margins
Should you opt for the Adobe PDF document format for your product, you will find the option to add both a title and also some extra information relevant to your purchase.
Print Service
At CENTREMAPSlive® we often find that our customers work on digital files that may be of A3 or larger paper size whilst they do not have printing capabilities to these sizes.
As a result, the option is available to request printed copies:
After indicating that a print is required, the choice of finish and number of copies becomes available.
Promotional Codes and Discounts
Beneath the list of order items a box can be found for entering 'Promotional Codes'. These codes will have been seen in published literature which you may have seen through various sources.
If you receive a Promotional Outlet Code (a code starting CML...) then this code should be entered in the new account registering area as it will ensure that your account is enabled to receive the discount as long as the offer is running.
Licensing Terms and Conditions
Before being able to continue to the payment stage, you will need to confirm that you have looked at the licensing terms and conditions.
Ordering More Data
Should you wish to add another item to your order before continuing to the payment stage, you will find that the 'Order More Data' button returns you to the order screens.
You will note that the screen shows the same choices made for the current item including the area and product. This is done deliberately in order to make it simpler to buy several types of mapping for the same location. Simply follow the order steps to change any details as required.
