Created by Land and Property Services (formerly Ordnance Survey) Northern Ireland, the 1:50 000 Raster mapping is cartographically identical to the Discoverer series (1:50 000) paper product.

Clear detailed information on roads, footpaths, woods, water features, important buildings and height contours.

All topographic features are joined across sheet edges, providing coverage of the entire country.

Compatible with the Republic of Ireland Discovery Map Series. Both map series have the same co-ordinate system, same data source in border areas and a similar cartographic style and feature content.

Fully geo-referenced and compatible with other OSNI data.

Technical Information

• Derived directly from OSNI Discoverer database, resulting in a high resolution (300 dpi) quality colour image
• Distances and areas can be measured to an accuracy of 30m/30m2
• Can be displayed on most graphics software packages
