Northern Ireland mapping from Land & Property Services formerly Ordnance Survey

 

centremapslive.com is delighted to announce the forthcoming addition of Northern Ireland's Land & Property Services (formerly Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland) datasets to their on-line mapping system.

 

The service is due to be released as a live Beta version during May 2008 and you  are welcome to register for a preview of the service at the IT Showcase event in Belfast Castle on Wednesday the 7th of May.

 

If you have an interest in mapping information for Northern Ireland, you will be interested to hear that you can not only benefit from immediate access to a broad range of high quality datasets but can also view and interact with many of these layers for free (including 1:1250/1:2500 mapping) before committing to purchase.

 

Products include:

  • 1:1250/1:2500 scale vector detailed mapping
  • 1:10,000 scale soils  mapping
  • 1:10,000 scale raster (image) street mapping
  • 1:50,000 scale raster (image) local mapping
  • 1:250,00 scale raster (image) road/regional mapping
  • Digital Terrain Models
  • Orthophotography (national from 2003 onwards)
  • Historical Archive (20,000 maps from 1865 to 1960's)

Added to the LPS Northern Ireland datasets are a growing range from other suppliers including aerial imagery from Cities Revealed and Blom Aerofilms.

 

 

Formats:

 

TIFF image, PDF document and a variety of vector formats including DXF for CAD and GIS users are available depending on the mapping type.

 

Should you opt for the Adobe PDF format, you can benefit from the option to combine products in a 'layered' version and to add titles, information and even a company logo.

 

 

 

 

Licence Management:
