Ordnance Survey’s MiniScale is provide via CENTREMAPSlive as an image based format only.
Significantly, there is no copyright fee when used at 1:1 000 000 scale or smaller.
Off-line options:
National coverage can be supplied direct (off-line) from CENTREMAPS. The offline data is supplied on one CD-ROM as a single data file in a variety of industry standard formats, including in the latest release Macromedia FreeHand MX and Adobe® Illustrator® 10. The data is held in layers with styled objects for easy customisation of map images. These can be easily converted to web images using appropriate software (not supplied). Call for more information.
- The FreeHand file contains an extra layer of Welsh names which can be used to replace the English ones.
