STEP 3 - Selecting the coverage that your product will show

The left hand area of the ordering screen provides the four options available for defining a required mapping coverage.
Once an area has been added it appears in the location window on the right. Simply click and hold the left mouse button whilst on the existing coverage outline and then 'drag' until the area is in the required location.
How to select your required coverage:
There are 4 ways of selecting the area you require mapping for:
Paper size coverage:
The following options can be found under the Paper Size area selection:

On selecting a sheet size, the coverage is shown (illustrated below) as a dark blue line for the mapping coverage to be included and a grey line which marks the actual paper edge.
A sample of a product is shown to illustrate the margins provided.

Ground Size coverage:
Select a 'ground size' provides the ability to specify the exact amount of ground coverage required rather than the printed size. This is useful if you need to cover a specific amount of area and are not necessarily interested in the printed size.
Simply input the dimensions required in metres as shown below:

Mapping Size coverage:
The Mapping Size option is very useful if you require mapping to print out to a specific size, excluding any margins which will be added if the PDF format is selected.
A good example is where a brochure is being prepared and the mapping needs to fit into an allocated space (e.g. 100 by 100 millimetres).
The image below shows this option:

Shape Extract coverage:
A truly customised way of selecting your mapping! Simply draw out on the overview map the area which you require and pay for just that mapping:
