STEP 2 - Selecting your product
Pre-selection of the product:
If you have followed a 'Buy Now' link from a specific product information page, you will find that the product is already selected for you.
You can still use the product selection step to change your choice of product.
Product Selection using the ordering screen:
The selection of the product is made up of several choices:
1) Select the Data Type or Supplier:
The data type and supplier drop down menus offer alternative ways of finding your product.
For example, Landform Panorama is a height information product from Ordnance Survey and can thus be found both under the data type of 'Height Information' and supplier 'Ordnance Survey'
2) Select the product:
Having selected either a supplier or data type, a drop down menu for the relevant products appears.
Select the product required and you will see an example of that type of mapping appear and if there are several product options you will be offered further tick boxes to choose from.
3) Select the product option:
If the product has several options then a series of choices with tick boxes will appear.
Only one may be selected at a time but after completing the process of adding one to the shopping basket, an 'Order more data' option is available allowing another product (or product option) to be selected for the same area.
Product Sample is shown:
Once the product is selected a sample of the data is shown. The sample is of a standard location to illustrate the style of mapping and is not intended to be a sample of the area you are interested in.
