UKMap available to buy
Having recently achieved Accredited Partner status for UKMap from The GeoInformation Group, centremapslive.com is delighted to be able to offer the ability to buy the full UKMap pack with a 1 kilometre square licence for 1 year internal business use being just £140 + VAT.
This entirely new modern dataset is rich in attribution and represents the first commercially funded dataset of this scale and size to be available in the UK, bringing more choice to the market.
In addition to the obvious benefits in assured currency a few of the other key aspects include:
- Seamless (no gaps between polygons) mapping to a 1:1000 scale accuracy
- Garages, outbuildings, road markings and more included as standard
- Aerial imagery and a 5m grid terrain model (from 1m LiDAR in the case of London) included
- An overlay layer including detail such as trees, pylon lines and above ground floor retail
- Address Information
- GIS formats such as ESRI / MapInfo / Cadcorp with DXF/DWG versions and PDF options available
Greater London is the first to benefit with all of the boroughs covered. Forthcoming areas for 2010 are the West Midlands conurbation, Merseyside, Manchester and parts of Yorkshire.
Beyond this the 5 year programme extends to mapping 500 towns and cities, covering all population centres over 10,000 in population and representing some 24,000 square kilometres throught the UK.
